Map and quill

Map and quill jsou předměty v Hollow Knight. Mapa zobrazuje různé místnosti, průchody a komnaty v rámci Hallownest.

Chcete-li začít mapovat oblast, musíte nejprve zakoupit neúplnou mapu oblasti od Cornifer. Pokud je Cornifer v oblasti vynechán (obvykle poražením bosse oblasti), Iselda prodá mapu této oblasti za mírně vyšší cenu v Dirtmouth.

Celou mapu lze zobrazit stisknutím tlačítka inventář a rolováním na stránku Mapa. K tomu lze také přistupovat poklepáním na RYCHLOU MAPU namísto procházení menu. Podržením RYCHLÉ MAPY se otevře překryvná mapa aktuální oblasti, což umožňuje rytíři procházet se v pozadí při čtení mapy.

K dokončení mapy je třeba u Iseldy zakoupit Quill. Po prozkoumání nezmapovaných oblastí je třeba na lavičce odpočívat, aby se mapa aktualizovala. Prozkoumané oblasti mapy se zobrazí jako barevné segmenty s plnými čarami. Vstup do místnosti většinou vyplní celou místnost na mapě; některé se však odhalí jen částečně.

Collector's map

Tento předmět získaný v horní části Věže lásky (po porážce Collectora) poskytuje možnost vidět všech 46 míst Grub na mapě, označených špendlíkem. Funguje to stejně jako špendlíky zakoupené v Iseldině obchodě.
